Alex Langshur is founder and President of PublicInsite, a web and search engine marketing analytics consulting firm. PublicInsite helps organizations with non-commerce and content-rich sites analyze user’s behaviour to measure the effectiveness and impact of their web sites. Alex He has led multiple web analytics initiatives for public sector organizations at the international, national and municipal levels, as well as major non-profit, private sector and education organizations. Prior to founding PublicInsite, Alex was a Vice President of Consilium 2K, a technology consulting firm, and Director of Strategic Projects at the Canadian Chemical Producers Association. He is currently President of Web Analytics Association (WAA), Co-Chair of the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit Toronto, and participant in the Smithsonian Institutions’s “Smithsonian 2.0” digerati group. He teaches highly rated courses on web analytics and search engine optimization for GSA Web Manager University and WAA Base Camp, and has been frequently published in journals and magazines. Alex lives in Boston with his wife, two sons and golden retriever.
