Mehrdad Nazari (MSc, MBA) is the Senior Impact Assessment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Advisor, and Director of Prizma LLC (www.prizmasolutions.com).

He has 17 years of international experience in environmental and social risk assessments and auditing, application of corporate social responsibility principles, and advising financial institutions. Mehrdad was previously a Project Manager with Dames & Moore Germany (now URS), Principal Environmental Specialist with the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD, UK), and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Research at CoreRatings Ltd (UK, now DNV and Innovest).  Mehrdad's project experience spans Central and Eastern Europe, the Former Soviet Union, Latin America and China.

He studied geosciences and business administration in Germany, US and the UK. He was a Fulbright grantee, is a Fellow of LEAD Europe and serves as a Director of LEAD Canada Inc. Mehrdad has developed and implemented grant-funded initiatives dealing with biodiversity offsets, stakeholder dialogue, conflict resolution, and transboundary oil spill response. He also chaired conferences, participates in international initiatives and delivers training courses associated with best practice in extractive industries. Mehrdad is a German national and resides in the US.
